Hello, and welcome! I'm Teisha Christie — known warmly to many as Aunty Sherna. I'm an author with a passion for stories that explore the unseen, the spiritual, and the profound truths that shape our lives.
My journey as an author began with a calling — a desire to bring to light the extraordinary forces that shape our world in ways we may not always see. Through my writing, I invite readers into realms of wonder, courage, and revelation.
My love for reading and writing didn't just begin—it ignited at eleven years old, like a spark that refused to be contained. Writing became my refuge and my revelation, answering the questions that echoed through my mind, heart, and spirit. I wasn't just inspired—I was awakened. I fell deeply in love with words and the undeniable power they hold to transform not only the writer, but the reader and the world itself.
I dreamed endlessly—of poems stacked high like towers of truth, of stories waiting patiently to be brought to life. I imagined writers everywhere—creating in quiet sanctuaries, in small apartments, on buses scribbling brilliance onto napkins, filling notebooks with pieces of their soul. That vision fuels me.
Inspiration lives in everything for me—in the rhythm of the rain, in the beauty and chaos of life itself. Through writing, I make sense of it all: the violence, the love, the joy, the heartbreak, the fear. Each emotion finds its place, each experience finds its voice.
When I write, there are no limits. I can go anywhere. I can be anyone. I rise beyond economics, beyond racism—beyond every barrier—and in that space, I discover true freedom.
